happy new year!

how on earth is it 2008 already?
time is going much faster. it's not constant. i don't care what the scientists say.

art report for the beginning of the year:
- spent much of new year's day cleaning out my art studio so that it's usable again. this means new paintings are coming soon!
- took down the art show at Flight 55. the skinny vertical paintings have been sold, but the rest are available if you're interested - http://cynthiagould.com/flight55/
- i have 2 commissioned paintings that i haven't even started yet and i hope those people don't kill me.
- i'm reading a bit of poetry tuesday january 8th as part of the Art Bar Team Reading night, details at artbar.org. i'm on first. this is going to be interesting, as i currently have absolutely no voice. none. i've lost it. maybe it rolled under the couch?
- saturday night the band has our biggest show yet at the Cameron House, details at highheelslofi.com this is an All Hands On Deck - Please Come Out! sort of show.
- february is album writing month! fawm.org the challenge is to write 14 songs in 28 days. we are taking on the challenge, so please don't be alarmed if paisley & i disappear for the month of february.

i hope that everyone is doing well, taking their vitamins, and making lots of ToDo Lists for 2008!
